Green Film on Earth's Fastest Changing ClimateMontclair's office of Environmental Affairs and Community Green present the next screening of the Montclair Green Film Series, Antarctic Edge: 70° South, on Thursday, June 21, 6:00 p.m. (please note this new earlier hour) at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton, Montclair, 07042.

Antarctic Edge is a science-in-action feature film, funded in part by the National Science Foundation. As we follow a renowned team of scientists studying climate change in the fastest winter-warming place in the world, this documentary combines innovative science, dramatic imagery and two decades of scientific collaboration into a compelling character-driven narrative.

With unprecedented access to critically important climate research, we go to the heart of the fastest changing environment in the world: the West Antarctic Peninsula. For the first time in history, the Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) project at Palmer Station is stunningly documented on film.

Bring a friend, a neighbor, or your family scientist to this free screening, and to our open discussion afterwards.
