The Department of Planning & Community Development is responsible for historic preservation in the Township. The Department provides administrative support to the Historic Preservation Commission. Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness are filed with the Department in addition to any all other needs of the Commission or inquires of the public.
The Department has developed a Historic Inventory Viewer, which provides a an interactive map of all historic resources; including local historic districts, local historic landmarks and all other areas identified in the Historic Preservation Plan Element.
