The Department of Community Services accepts light iron and clean metal materials at the recycling drop-off, 219 North Fullerton Avenue on Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Metal and iron items such as metal poles (without concrete attached), fences, cabinets, desk, doors, and lawn mowers (with oil and gas removed) are a few of the items accepted.
Recycling the light iron and clean metal materials instead of placing them out for bulk waste saves the Township of Montclair in disposal fees.
