Each year, on the first Saturday in June, the Montclair African American Heritage Foundation hosts a wonderful parade and fun-filled festival with exciting star-filled lineups for the festivities.

The parade returns bigger and better than ever every year. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Glenfield Middle School on Maple Avenue, proceeds onto Bloomfield Avenue to Elm Street, Orange Road, to the back of the South End Parking Lot on Cedar Avenue, ending at Nishuane Park where the festival will take place from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. This year's grand marshals will be announced at a later date.
