NEEC Recognizes Montclair Sustainability Officer with Lifetime Achievement Award

The Northeast Earth Coalition (NEEC) honored Montclair Sustainability Officer Gray Russell with its 2018 Lifetime Environmental Achievement Award at the organization’s third annual Act Locally for a More Sustainable World conference held Saturday, January 27 at the Montclair Public Library.
NEEC Founder José German presented the award, expressing appreciation for “the outstanding service Gray has consistently delivered to the Montclair community and beyond.”
“Gray’s actions and environmental commitment – a great example of the leadership, dedication, hard work, and selfless service that are core values of NEEC – have made Montclair and New Jersey more eco-friendly and sustainable,” said Mr. German. “The work he does makes a lasting contribution to our community, and is an inspiration that needs to be replicated locally and across the state.”
