Animal Shelter

Our animals are awaiting loving homes and MTAS adoptable animals can be viewed on Petfinder.com or on the shelter’s Facebook page.

MTAS encourages pet owners to be proactive and have a plan in place for their pet(s) in the event the owner becomes ill and requires medical attention.

Make sure all pets are wearing proper identification, have crates and extra food or supplies on hand and have a trustworthy friend or family member on standby to take care of their pet(s) should they become ill or hospitalized.

MTAS has plans in place to ensure the animals in our care are cared for in the event of an emergency.

Thank you for your continued support, we love being part of such a caring community!  You may contact us at [email protected] or 973-744-8600 if you have any questions or concerns.

As always, Animal Control Officers are available 24/7 by calling 862-621-9113 or by calling the Montclair Police Department non-emergency number 973-744-1234.

MTAS is here to help our residents in this time of uncertainty. We have a Pet Food Pantry established for those who are in need of some assistance feeding their pets. We don't want anyone to feel that they must choose between feeding their families or their pets or think they must give up their pets because they may not be able to feed/care for them.
If any of our residents are in need of some assistance, please reach out to us and let us know what your needs are and we will set up a time for you to pick up necessary items for your pets.
