Learn the signs and symptoms of memory loss and its treatment at a free memory assessment clinic to be held Thursday, March 22, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the MDHHS offices, third floor, 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair. Registration is required, please call 973-429-4970 to register.
Memory assessments can be done in as little as 20 minutes. They can help detect early signs of memory loss that may be disease-related but which may have treatments. Some diseases related to memory loss, such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s, can be harmful to one’s overall health status. MDHHS recommends assessments for individuals with a family history of memory loss or who express concerns about experiencing memory loss.
The memory assessment clinic is provided by the Montclair Department of Health and Human Services in conjunction with Hackensack Meridian Health, Mountainside Medical Center.
