What is your age and where were you born? 91. Newark, New Jersey.
When did you move to Montclair and why? 1970. When I moved from Los Angeles, California I was looking for housing and an agent showed me a house I could afford to buy in Montclair.
Are you currently employed? If so, doing what? If you had a career, what was it? I am partially retired. I teach as an adjunct professor at New York Seminary and Newark School of Religion when asked. I had varied careers when working as a student on a variety of jobs. One of the important careers I had was in the fields of religious education and anthropology.
How are you currently engaged in the community? I am a member of the Oratorial Chorus of New Jersey. I also work on the election polls.
What are some of the most important lessons you feel you have learned throughout your life? Be truth…be trustworthy…respect others as you want to be respected…be on time (HA-HA)
What is your mantra or words you live by? Take time to know people…humility.
