Monthly Payment
The MPU does not send monthly invoices to Monthly Hang tag Holders. All invoices are generated by Parkmobile and sent out on the 23rd of each month unless permit holder is enrolled in Autopay. An automatic charge will occur on the 25th of each month if permit holder is enrolled in Auto Pay.
If not enrolled in Auto Pay, the permit holder is responsible for making payment NO LATER than the last day of the month. Payment should be made by check, money order, or credit card at the administrative office, or online at the link below:

- No refunds will be accepted for permits once purchased for the current month or renewal period.
- All cancellations of account must be done no later than the 22nd of each month prior for the upcoming month. If done within the renewal period, customer is responsible for payment for upcoming month.
- In order to continue parking, your permit must be renewed monthly. If you happen to neglect payment within any 30-day renewal period, you will forfeit your right to renew. At this point, you will have to be placed on a waitlist should one exist for that permit type. If you want to be put on the waitlist but you have an outstanding balance, you must settle the balance before you can be waitlisted or, if permits are available, have your permit reactivated.
Permits MUST be renewed by the first (1st) of any given month for that month’s access into any of the MPU parking facilities. If paying in person – NO CASH PAYMENTS.
Monthly Hang Tag Permit Holder Information
The monthly hang tag account holder is responsible for updating the information with the MPU to ensure proper and accurate billing. If the permit holder moves, changes email addresses, gets a new vehicle, changes their license plate, etc. the MPU must be notified immediately. Failure to update this information that is on file could result in account deactivation.
Length of Time Vehicle is Parked in the Facility
Parking of vehicle in a facility without moving the vehicle, may not exceed 72 hours unless previously arranged with the MPU or parking management company that is managing the parking decks, (Right now this is Impark who can be reached at 973-744-6010) If you plan on not moving your car for more than 72 hours in one of the parking decks, please give them a call. Vehicle Storage is Prohibited, and vehicle will be towed at owner’s expense if no one is notified.

- Auto Pay – Your credit card will automatically be charged at on the 25th of each month. You may visit Parkmobile website and set up auto-pay or contact them at 1-866-524-2334.
- By Mail – mail your check to Montclair Parking Utility
- In Person – Drop off check at our office located at the below address:
