Montclair water customers will see a new quarterly charge on their water bill this July. The new charges have been put in place to address the Township’s aging water infrastructure and to continue maintaining the highest water purity standards to be in compliance with New Jersey Water Quality Accountability Act of 2017.
§ 341-9.1 Infrastructure Charge. Effective July 1, 2021, all consumers receiving water service from the Township shall pay, in addition to any other applicable charges, an infrastructure charge as follows:
