Using the US Sports Institute SNAG (Start New At Golf) G-Ball system, the program is a revolutionary way to introduce children to the world of golf. Incorporating fun learning tools and methodology, this program is all about having fun while learning the fundamentals of the different strokes and swings.
With the G-Ball system golf programs can take place indoors and outside. Similar to other sports, all USSI programs use developmentally appropriate equipment designed to allow children to experience immediate success. Players use modified golf clubs that encourage children to develop the correct grip and swing mechanics, and play to colorful velcro targets rather than holes.
Golf curricula focus on simplifying coaching to allow players to grasp all elements of the game and ultimately bridge that transition to a full game of golf.
