Job Title: Director of Senior Services/Lifelong Montclair
Summary: The Director of Senior Services/Lifelong Montclair is responsible for continuation of the “Lifelong Montclair” initiative, focused on transforming Montclair from a good place to live into a great place to grow older, by planning, developing and implementing services and programs for senior citizens. The Director will function as the point person for the initiative, working closely with community partners, funders, a steering committee, working groups, consultants, support staff and various Township Departments and employees. Initial and ongoing tasks include advocating for programs, services and interventions that promote Montclair as an elder-friendly community, working with community partners and supervising daily operations of Lifelong Montclair. Work is performed under general direction from the Director of Health and Human Services, who reviews performance for conformance to departmental policies and procedures.
Salary: $86,827 - $114,989; includes health benefits.
Job Title: Crossing Guard
Summary/Duties: The Township of Montclair Police Department is seeking School Crossing Guards to work two to four hours per day, according to assignments. The Crossing Guard regulates and directs the movement of school children at a street intersection, paying particular attention to their safety; assists and protects children at street intersections.
Rate: Maximum hourly rate is $22.78; salary commensurate with experience. Part-time, not to exceed twenty-one (21) hours per week.
