The Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs hosts a number of holiday and remembrance events.
Each year Mr. Bunny welcomes spring with a fun day, that includes an egg hunt, jelly bean count contest with prizes and a visit with Mr. Bunny himself.
Montclair Township hosts an annual holiday tree lighting in Church Street Plaza with holiday music, Santa visit – an evening of fun winter entertainment in downtown Montclair. The following day, Santa will visits the Business Districts on a Montclair Fire Department fire truck and has gifts for all youngsters.
Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies -- each year the Township commemorates those lost at war and our veterans with ceremonies in Edgemont Memorial Park.
