About the program:
The Second Time Around Shop is a thrift store located in the basement of St. Luke’s Church. Donations of clothing for the whole family, jewelry, household items, novels, cookbooks, children’s books, baby equipment, toys, collectibles and other small items are gratefully accepted. They offer half price sales once a month, and twice yearly vintage sales and $5/bag sales, which attract new customers and increase profits.
The shop, staffed entirely by some 40+ volunteers, is one of the primary activities of the churchwomen (and a few men and youths) and aided by friends of St. Luke’s, staffing the shop and also sorting, pricing, pressing, mending and selling your donations to customers from Montclair and surrounding communities. Money raised goes to benefit local and international charities.
