Montclair residents may pay their Property Tax, Water Bureau, and Sewer Utility bills online using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express cards.
Fees:
There are user convenience fees associated with paying your bill using a debit or credit card.
There is no charge for payment by e-check, the Finance Department has eliminated the $ 1.05 online transaction fee.
Please Note:
When the transaction is complete, you will receive a “payment confirmation” email from the processing company. Your payment is now pending, and it will be routed to a clearing house where verification of account information will begin.
Returned E-Check Fee:
As per the Township Ordinance 05-38, a fee of $20 will appear on your next bill for any returned payment for any reason.
