Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads you travel every day. Even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their driving skills. By taking the AARP Smart Driver course you'll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safety in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. Participants receive a certificate upon completion for a premium reduction for 3 years from their insurance carrier. Call your insurance carrier to determine your specific discount for completing this course.

Stroke Screening

Man Up: Men's Health Lecture

The Montclair Health Department partnered with Mountainside Medical Center recognizes the importance of men's health awareness and is proud to present a free all men's health event; Man Up. MDHHS encourages Montclair's male residents to participate in this educational event. Participants will engage in a presentation by Raghav Rastogi, MD on the top men's health threats and how they are preventable.

Prostate Screening

This free cancer-related screening, PSA blood test and digital rectal exam is recommended for men ages 50 to 75 (45 if African American and /or family history). The Prostate Screening clinic is provided by the Montclair Health Department in conjunction with Hackensack Meridian Health, Mountainside Medical Center.
