Where were you born? Long Branch, New Jersey
Why did you move to Montclair? I moved here to be near family who chose Montclair. Montclair has so many activities and facilities to help seniors live life out. Reduced taxi fares and the low cost of senior badges for pools are examples.
Are you currently employed If so, doing what? I am not currently employed. I was employed as a journalist and PR professional.
How are you engaged in the community? I live in a senior building. I am active at the YMCA and am a book club member. I have been a member of the Montclair Write Group for about 10 years and am a member of Shomrei Emunah.
What are some of the most important lessons you feel you have learned throughout your life? Friendship is a real gift that adds value to life. I am a lifetime learner and I’ve always had a cat in my house. Family closeness keeps me going.
What are your plans for future? How does Montclair fit into these plans? I look forward to seeing my grandchildren grow up. I want to keep doing exercise at the Y and aquacise at Mountainside Pool.
